Robson & Prescott Vets in Northumberland are excited to welcome a confident and enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied caseload and is keen to continue developing their clinical skills. This role will provide the opportunity for someone to grow a specific area of interest - whether that’s surgical, medical, or diagnostic imaging - within a highly supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.
As both a branch and hospital-based practice, we can support vets who prefer a traditional first-opinion setting or those who would like exposure to a busy, well-equipped hospital environment. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive in-house investigations and actively encourage ongoing professional development, including support toward advanced qualifications.

Our approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly fits with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. The full-time hours for this role would include 40 hours per week over the choice of 4 or 5 days per week. We are happy to chat to candidates looking for part-time or flexible working options. There would be some OOH commitments as part of our in-house service.

We are a large, multi-disciplinary practice with over 100 team members, including veterinary surgeons, RVNs, trainee nurses, nursing auxiliaries, and a dedicated hydrotherapist. As a nurse training practice, we pride ourselves on creating a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
