This is a Hybrid role, which can be based from any one of our offices in Jesmond, Chester-le-Street or Teesside.

Role Overview: We’re now looking for a Corporate Tax Consultant to join us - someone who takes pride in quality work, values strong relationships, is a good communicator and wants to be part of a firm that’s moving forward. We require a technically strong corporate tax professional who could broaden and deepen our offering in this area.

Requirements:

  • CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA with strong corporate tax experience); candidates working towards CTA will also be considered.
  • Strong corporate tax compliance experience, with the ability and ambition to develop advisory expertise.
  • Experience advising owner-managed businesses, corporate groups and entrepreneurial clients.
  • Exposure to corporate restructures, reorganisations and transactions would be advantageous.
  • A practical understanding of tax-efficient profit extraction, succession planning and shareholder matters.
  • A commercial mindset, with the confidence to identify advisory opportunities and add value to client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and practical way.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to contribute to the development of an integrated Tax team.
