Workday Financials Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid/Remote flexibility considered)

Workday Financials Analyst, where you\’ll play a critical role in the evolution and enhancement of our Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning solutions. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on Workday Financials experience looking to focus on the development and support of a post-implementation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and configuration of the Workday Financials system in line with business objectives.
  • Support finance users with their day-to-day system needs, ensuring smooth operation and prompt issue resolution.
  • Take ownership of system documentation related to business processes, configurations, and integrations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and implement system enhancements, including new features and integrations.
  • Deliver technical and functional support for finance processes already embedded in Workday.
  • Assist with system updates, release testing, and change control processes.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, gathering requirements and translating them into Workday system solutions.
  • Play a key role in enhancing Adaptive Planning to meet evolving forecasting and budgeting requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials (such as Core Finance, Suppliers, Customers, Banking, or Projects).
  • Exposure to Adaptive Planning, with a good understanding of planning, budgeting, or forecasting workflows.
  • Familiarity with Workday configuration and post-deployment support practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial operations and business processes.
  • Previous experience supporting Workday in a global or enterprise environment.
