About RobolabX

We run hands‑on robotics and coding clubs for children aged 5-11 across south London. Sessions are practical, creative and fast‑moving: kids build robots, code with Micro:bits, design in 3D and explore AI. We're growing fast, and we need brilliant people to grow with us. This role sits inside a growing founder‑led network. Tutors can get access to industry exhibitions and STEM events that most people at this stage of their career simply wouldn't reach.

The role

You’ll lead 1‑hour sessions at one or more of our Clapham, Balham and Streatham clubs. That means running structured activities, managing groups effectively and making sure every child leaves with something to be proud of. This is an in‑person, hands‑on role, you’ll be on your feet, troubleshooting robots, sparking curiosity and keeping the energy up. For the right person, there’s a clear path to Area Manager as we continue to expand across London and beyond.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children
  • A strong interest in STEM, coding, robotics or creative technology
  • Comfortable leading groups and adapting on the fly
  • Professional, punctual and reliable. Our schools and families count on you
  • Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Safeguarding awareness (training provided)

You might be a university student, STEM graduate, teacher, teaching assistant or college leaver with the right attitude and experience.

What you get

  • Full curriculum, training and all equipment provided
  • All required qualifications reimbursed on completion of required hours, including Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training
  • First aid training fully reimbursed on completion of required hours
  • Regular networking events and access to industry‑led robotics and STEM exhibitions through our founder network
  • A clear progression path to Area Manager for the right candidate
  • A genuine chance to shape how young children engage with technology
