Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Complete assigned development tasks to technical specification.
- Work alongside experienced engineers developing minor enhancements, features, and bug fixes for Java applications.
- Ensure high quality through unit testing and adherence to standards.
- Learn and implement high standards for Agile processes, development practices, source code management, testing, and peer review.
- Contribute within the R&D team based in Newcastle.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering.
- Experience (commercial or university) with Java, C#, or Python.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms.

- Natural curiosity and a demonstrated propensity for learning about a broad range of technologies.
- Some understanding and/or practical experience in unit testing.
