About Robogals

Robogals is a global organisation dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women to pursue careers in engineering and technology. Founded in 2010, the organisation operates in various countries, including the UK, where it has made significant strides in promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education among girls.

Our core mission is to address the gender imbalance in engineering fields by providing engaging workshops, hands-on robotics activities, and mentorship opportunities. We believe that by introducing girls to engineering concepts at a young age, we can spark their interest and encourage them to consider careers in these vital sectors.

Robogals collaborates with universities, schools, and industry partners to deliver high-quality programs that are both educational and fun. Our volunteers, who are often engineering students themselves, play a crucial role in delivering these workshops, serving as role models and mentors for the participants.

In addition to our workshops, we also host events such as competitions and hackathons, which allow girls to showcase their skills and creativity. These events not only build confidence but also foster a sense of community among participants.
