Overview

Are you positive and enthusiastic with some experience (paid or voluntary) working with children? Then you could be just the person we are looking for to join the team as a Robinwood Group Leader.

Responsibilities

Group Leading at Robinwood is more than being an outdoor activity instructor. Our Group Leaders use themed and adventurous activities to develop children over a three-day course. Incorporating the 12 qualities we develop into sessions whilst delivering a fun and safe experience.

In short, you’ll be giving children memories that could last a lifetime and developing skills to help them at the KS2 level and beyond.

Whether staying as a Group Leader, moving up to senior positions or moving into a different career. Being a Robinwood Group Leader will provide you with skills that will last you a lifetime.

Group Leaders work regular days each week on a 5-day (36 HPW*) permanent year-round contract (3 or 4-day contracts are available after an initial training period, subject to availability) and have most school holidays off.

All staff are promoted from within so there are excellent opportunities for the best staff.

  • Actual hours worked per week will likely be higher to allow at least 12 weeks off.

Pay

Starting salary of £23,587 (£12.60 per hour), increasing with time served and responsibility. Free meals when working + paid NGB training.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from positive, enthusiastic people who have some experience (paid or voluntary) working with children. Qualifications are not necessary as we provide all training, although an interest and some experience in the activities we offer is useful.
