Want a fun and worthwhile job working with children? Robinwood is an award-winning provider of residential outdoor activity courses for primary schools. We are looking for fun and outgoing people to work as Group Leaders (Activity Instructors) for our Barhaugh Hall centre, near Alston, Cumbria.

Group Leading at Robinwood is more than being an outdoor activity instructor. Our Group Leaders use themed and adventurous activities to develop children over a three-day course. In short, you’ll be giving children memories that could last a lifetime and developing skills to help them at the KS2 level and beyond. As you invest in the children, we invest in you through an industry-leading training and development programme.

Whether staying as a Group Leader, moving up to senior positions or moving into a different career, being a Robinwood Group Leader will provide you with skills that will last you a lifetime.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver themed and adventurous activities across a three-day course to develop children (KS2 level and beyond).
  • Engage and support primary school children as part of a residential activity programme.
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for participants.
Salary and contract

Starting salary is £13.00 per hour (a 33 hour per week contract), increasing with time served and responsibility.

Requirements
