Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to join our Wholesale team. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key wholesale accounts, building strong long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities that support the company’s sales and growth objectives. The role is remote based with expected travel to designated accounts and the Head Office in Bury St Edmunds for team and principal meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already built a strong foundation in customer relationship management and is now looking to develop greater commercial responsibility, manage key wholesale accounts and play a more strategic role in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key wholesale accounts, building strong and lasting customer relationships
- Deliver sales growth through account planning, range development and commercial negotiation
- Prepare and deliver account plans, sales forecasts and regular performance reviews
- Lead customer meetings, business reviews and range presentations
- Negotiate trade agreements in line with company strategy
- Support new business development within the wholesale channel where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, forecasts and pipelines using internal systems
- Ensure all trading activity is delivered in line with agreed budgets, targets and company policies
