We are currently looking to recruit an IT Systems Technician to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. This is a full-time position aimed at complementing the current skill sets within our IT team whilst also providing you with the opportunity to continue to learn and develop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support IT Manager in providing day-to-day support and development for core business applications
  • Support IT Manager in investigating and resolving data issues, and user requests
  • Develop the ability to maintain and enhance applications over time
  • Assist with maintaining data interfaces, imports/exports and automation routines
  • Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Help identify opportunities for system improvements, automation and efficiency gains
  • Support IT controls by ensuring changes are traceable, reviewed and appropriately tested

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience within an IT Department is preferable
  • Experience of supporting ERP/MRP suites
  • Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Experience of programming (any language) and willingness to learn further programming languages
  • Experience implementing and embedding an ERP system desirable
  • Understanding of Systems administration
