Hourly Paid HR Consultant – Employee Relations Specialist
Hourly rate: £20.51 per hour (FTE £40,000) + 12.07% annual leave allowance in addition
Hours – As and when required, to be agreed in advance - predicted to be around 4-8 days per month

We are often found planning restructures, managing redundancies, TUPE Transfers, conducting investigations to help resolve tricky ER cases, providing support with performance management and long term absence, as well as keeping up to date with legislation so that our clients remain compliant. There’s great variety and never a dull moment.
We’re now looking to expand our fantastic small team with an Hourly-Paid HR Consultant, specialising in Employee Relations and HR projects. The main duties of the role will be to support our clients with Employee Relations investigations, restructures and potential redundancies and deliver a range of client HR projects aa well as assisting retained clients with day-to-day queries.
You’ll need to:
- Have excellent knowledge and experience of employment law and ER case work
- Have managed end to end ER focused projects
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be personable and approachable
- Be able to work independently
- Be CIPD Qualified to L5 or 7

The hours for this role will vary in line with the needs of clients and there are no set hours currently, however there may be in the future as we grow. The role is currently hybrid with a regular presence needed in the Swindon area.
You’ll have 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata). You’ll also be able work flexibly to suit both yourself and the clients needs. There is no need to seek permission when you have life admin and family commitments, just arrange your day around them.
