Location: Office-based with hybrid working and some travel to client's offices in London and South West as and when required. Based in Swindon area.
Hours: 15 to 21 hours/week. We are all about flexibility and fitting your working time into your life so whilst we would like some consistency with hours spread across the week, we are happy to discuss a working pattern and part-time hours that would suit you. Some work can be done remotely but we are looking for a presence at our client's premises in SN5, West Swindon on a weekly basis.
Salary: c£37,500 per annum, pro-rata.
Robinson Grace HR Consultancy is an award-winning small consultancy based in Swindon, supporting small organisations, many in the not-for-profit sector, with pragmatic, high-quality HR and Health & Safety support and guidance. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HR Consultant who specialises in Learning & Development and Coaching to join our friendly, supportive team. If you would be interested in maintaining your self-employed status instead of joining as an employee, we would consider this option for this particular role if preferred.
The role: You will lead on learning, development and coaching solutions for a varied client base, while also providing generalist HR support. This is a hands-on, client-facing consultancy role with responsibility for designing and delivering L&D programmes, online training sessions, coaching leaders and employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering L&D workshops, first-time manager development programmes, and online training sessions
- Job description and person spec development for projects such as restructures, job matching and consultation programmes
- Providing performance, leadership and career guidance and coaching
- Delivering strategic and operational HR support across the employee life-cycle
- Managing client relationships to exceed expectations
- Supporting new business activity through attending and potentially running networking events and building community groups
- Leading webinars, and video content for our YouTube channel and social media soundbites
About you: You will be no shrinking violet. We are looking for a confident, credible HR professional who thrives in training sessions and creating video content, with a passion for learning and development.
Essential:
- Level 5 CIPD qualification minimum
- Significant experience in L&D design and delivery, including running impactful online training
- Strong performance management and career coaching background
- Working alongside the wider team of HR Consultants and Administrators to deliver a seamless full HR service to clients.
- Comfortable advising on employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives
- A very good standard of written English, grammar, and punctuation.
- A clear understanding of up-to-date employment legislation and HR best practice in relation to key HR processes
- A knowledge of the pressure points for small business owners
- Senior generalist HR experience - we are a busy consultancy and aim that every HR Consultant can play to their strengths, so if you have a specialism or specific interest, we want to encourage you to use it
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building and organisational skills
- Driving licence and transport - whilst driving requirements are not regular, our offices are not on a regular bus route, and some work on site with clients will be required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and working within GDPR guidelines.
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, new ideas and take on new tasks.
- Confident and comfortable in delivering training, presentations, webinars both face to face and online.
- Likes dogs - Chester our Wellbeing Champion is in the office most days, so you will need to be comfortable with dogs
Desirable:
- HR consultancy and/or SME experience
- Client account management experience
- Confident with IT: working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook email and ideally Asana.
- A clear understanding of up-to-date employment legislation and HR best practice in relation to key HR processes
- Experience of job evaluation and, or competency-based pay frameworks is desirable
- Qualified and experienced in mediation would be helpful
- Coaching qualification
- Experience of planning and managing recruitment campaigns would be beneficial
