The Agricultural Administrator provides administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of farm operations. This role involves handling day-to-day office tasks, maintaining records, supporting compliance with agricultural regulations, and assisting management in coordinating farm activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records relating to crops, livestock, machinery, and supplies
- Support with compliance documentation, including health and safety, environmental, and agricultural regulations
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and maintain supplier and customer accounts
- Coordinate staff rotas, timesheets, and payroll information
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and training for staff where required
- Maintain and update farm management systems and databases
- Assist with grant applications, subsidy claims, and reporting requirements
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and enquiries professionally
- Provide general administrative support to the farm manager and wider team
Requirements
