An established and growing M&E group is looking to appoint a Mechanical Contracts Manager to play a key role in the continued development of its mechanical contracting business. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager to join a professional, family-feel business and progress into a Director-level position within approximately 18 months.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery and commercial performance of the mechanical business, working closely with the wider group to provide turnkey solutions across the commercial and industrial markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of the mechanical contracting business, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Take full accountability for the business's P&L, commercial performance and financial results.
- Lead and develop the team, providing clear direction, support and accountability.
- Work closely with group companies to deliver turnkey M&E solutions and independent mechanical projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, Tier 1 contractors and other key clients.
- Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the business, supporting the group's three-year growth plan.
- Take ownership of project delivery, commercial performance and the continued improvement of operational processes.
