The Robinhood Communications team is focused on shaping how people understand and engage with our products around the world. We work across markets to share clear, accurate, and timely information about our technology, services, and leadership, helping more people see themselves as investors. The team partners closely with product, marketing, and brand teams to ensure consistent messaging across regions and audiences. As a Senior Communications Manager, International, you will lead media engagement and communications efforts across markets outside of the United States, including the United Kingdom, EU, EEA, and Singapore. You will develop and execute communications strategies that support product launches and ongoing brand visibility, while building strong relationships with media across technology, financial, and business press. This role brings together partners across product, marketing, and brand teams to translate complex topics into clear narratives. You will also manage agency partners and support spokesperson readiness to ensure consistent and effective communication across regions!
What You’ll Do
- Lead communications and media engagement across international markets including the UK, EU, EEA, and Singapore, in partnership with the crypto communications lead.
- Develop and execute PR strategies for international product launches that support the Robinhood brand narrative.
- Build awareness in new regions through media outreach and consistent storytelling across products and services.
- Manage media outreach across technology, financial, and business press, including proactive engagement and inbound requests.
- Coordinate press briefings, media tours, and events, and create materials such as blog posts, media pitches, FAQs, and fact sheets.
- Prepare and advise spokespeople, and contribute to the international spokesperson strategy.
- Manage PR agencies to support communications efforts across multiple markets.
- Collaborate with product marketing, brand marketing, and legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate and aligned communications.
What You Bring
- You have 8+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
- You have experience launching products and building relationships with technology, financial, and business media.
- You have experience developing PR campaigns, supporting product launches, and managing media strategies.
- You have experience handling sensitive communications and building trust with internal partners.
- You have experience managing external agencies.
- You can translate complex technical topics into clear and accessible narratives.
- You are familiar with emerging media formats and influencer engagement.
- You have experience working with well-known consumer or technology brands.
- You have experience working across multiple regions and time zones.
- Experience with crypto-related products is a plus.
