Join our team!

Robin's Nest is a small, friendly supported-living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy.

We're looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team and help residents enjoy fulfilling lives, make their own choices and develop their independence.

Unlike working in a large care setting, you'll have the opportunity to get to know the people you support and make a meaningful difference every day.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing personalised support with daily activities, routines and personal care where required.
  • Supporting residents to enjoy outings, appointments, hobbies and community activities.
  • Encouraging independence, dignity, choice and confidence.
  • Following individual support plans, including epilepsy care and emergency procedures.
  • Supporting medication administration where authorised and appropriately trained.
  • Keeping accurate records and working closely with colleagues and families.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or similar needs.
  • A caring, patient and respectful approach.
  • Reliability, initiative and good communication skills.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support.
  • Confidence working as part of a small team.
  • Experience supporting people with epilepsy is particularly welcome.
  • A relevant care qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Adult Care, would be an advantage.

What we offer

  • A small, friendly and supportive team.
  • Free mandatory training relevant to your role.
  • Opportunities for professional development.
  • Mileage reimbursement of 55p per mile for authorised work-related journeys using your own vehicle.
  • An annual Christmas outing organised and paid for by the company.
  • The opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
