We are currently working on an extremely exciting opportunity with a client who are looking to hire a an Associate to join their TMT M&A team. The firm are an Elite Boutique with an exceptional name in the market.
The ideal candidate will be someone with 3 to 5 years of M&A transaction exposure, operating at a bulge bracket, 2nd tier bank, or similar elite boutique. The firm would also consider standout candidates from top mid-market platforms or a Big 4 firm if they have clear and demonstrable lead advisory experience. In line with previous hires the firm have made, excellent candidates coming from platforms overseas would also be considered providing they have a proven M&A background and fluent command of the language.
The opportunity will be challenging but equally rewarding in joining a fantastic team at a platform with an unparalleled brand in the market where you would be working across some of the most high profile and exciting transactions in the TMT space. TMT sector expertise would be highly preferable, although candidates who can demonstrate a desire to operate within TMT space going forward would be considered. An excellent education and undergraduate degree is prerequisite.
The role will include:
- Assisting in the execution of TMT mandates
- Assist in the preparation of marketing pitch-books and related materials
- Gathering public information through numerous sources
- Generating valuation models and valuation benchmark analyses
- Building company forecast models
- General research
