Your new role
What you’ll do:
- Lead and develop operational teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-performing FM services
- Provide operational leadership across multiple healthcare contracts
- Ensure contractual compliance, KPI achievement and service delivery standards are consistently met
- Lead financial performance across the portfolio, including budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Build strong client relationships and act as a senior operational escalation point
- Support commercial performance through effective management of contractual risks, payment mechanisms and service performance
- Oversee lifecycle and capital works programmes in collaboration with project and technical teams
- Support business continuity, technical assurance and compliance activities across the region
- Contribute to strategic contract planning, including mobilisation, lifecycle planning and PFI Handback activity where applicable
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational performance, compliance and customer experience
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a senior FM operational leadership role managing multi-site contracts and multidisciplinary teams
- Technical FM or engineering services background
- Experience managing operational and financial performance within a contractual environment
- Strong leadership, client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering services within regulated or critical environments
Desirable Experience:
- Experience within healthcare FM environments
- Knowledge of HTM/SHTM compliance requirements
- Experience managing PFI or PPP contracts
- Understanding of payment mechanisms, lifecycle delivery and contractual performance management
- Experience supporting contract Mobilisation or Handback activities
The successful candidate will require a PVG/Disclosure Check before starting in the job.

Lead the operational delivery of Hard FM services across a portfolio of healthcare and critical environment contracts within Scotland, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially successful performance. The role is responsible for operational leadership, financial performance, client relationships, compliance, and service excellence across multiple contracts, leading teams of managers, engineers and specialist supply chain partners. The Regional Operations Manager will play a key role in driving performance, supporting long-term contract strategy, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and end users.
