Your new role
As a Maintenance Assistant with Robertson Facilities Management, you will work daily as part of a small site-based FM team and alongside client representatives, with responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service across the relevant client sites.
Your key responsibilities include:
- To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work as per the agreed programme.
- To undertake maintenance duties independently, under the supervision of the mobile engineer, or as an assistant to the mobile engineer including:
- Service and repair of doors, windows and general building fabric.
- Service and repair of plumbing systems.
- Small plaster repairs and painting.
- Service and repair of internal fixtures and fittings.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
- To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the RFM Lead Engineer and Facilities Manager or sub-contractors of any follow up action that may be required.
- To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
- The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List check before starting in the job.
