Your new role:
- The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA).
- This role has a strong commercial focus, with robust financial management and timely and accurate reporting as key requirements.
- The appointed individual will be motivated and well-organised, with the ability to deliver under pressure whilst supporting the finance team.
About you:
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Prior experience in a housebuilding/construction industry role advantageous but not essential.
- Strong technical foundation in accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with business acumen, pragmatism, and a good sense of diplomacy.
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Sound and relevant commercial awareness.
- Ability and aptitude to challenge work practices and seek explanations.
- Track record of producing timely financial MI in a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Highly developed oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a flexible working attitude.
- A strong team player, with a desire to make a significant contribution to the Finance Department.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office; experience of eVision and Sitestream helpful but not essential.
