Maintenance Technician

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Your new role

As a Maintenance Technician with Robertson Facilities Management at Clock View Hospital, you will be delivering a top-quality maintenance service for our client in a hospital environment for mental health care.

About the role:

  • To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor for basic repairs of doors, windows, plumbing systems, etc for general building fabric maintenance
  • Service and repair of internal fixtures and fittings.
  • To maintain accurate records of works in progress and completed
  • To take part in an on-call rota to provide 24-hour cover, 365 days per year

About you:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Qualified tradesperson, and/or extensive experience of property maintenance gained in either the Public or Private sector.
  • Basic Joinery skills
  • Basic Plumbing skills
  • Basic general building maintenance skills
  • Due to the on-call nature of this role, a Driving Licence or close proximity to the hospital is essential due to requirement to be onsite within 1 hour of an urgent call

The successful candidate will require a DBS Check before starting in the job.
