Location: The Marvell College, Barham Road, Hull, HU9 4EE

Working hours: 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:00 to 14:30 - Term time only

Salary: £13.04 per hour

Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) provides hard and soft FM services, grounds maintenance and energy services for single and multi-site locations throughout the UK. We work across sectors including education, healthcare, emergency services and commercial, assuring our customers of high-quality, best value and a sustainable approach.

Your new role

What you’ll do:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting all work surfaces, floors, and paintwork in the designated areas daily.
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping general flooring throughout the site.
  • Carrying out regular clearance of waste bins as required within the designated working areas.
  • Performing planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the site.
  • Ensuring that the facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
  • Reporting all accidents and incidents as appropriate.

About you:

  • General experience of cleaning.
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations.
  • Takes initiative and works reliably.
  • Good working level of spoken and written English to carry out cleaning duties safely and to communicate with clients and the management team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check before starting in the job.
