Your new role:
- Provide an efficient, proactive, and high-quality administrative service to the Group HR function, ensuring the delivery of exceptional HR support across the business.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with employees, managers, and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for HR-Admin related queries.
- Reporting to the Group HR-People Partner, gain exposure to and support the full employee lifecycle through involvement in end-to-end HR Administration processes, contributing to a positive employee experience and the effective delivery of people initiatives across the business.
Duties:
- Coordinate and respond to HR queries from employees and People Leaders, providing effective and efficient guidance.
- Manage and action the Employee Relations email inbox.
- Provide assistance in improving and updating standard operating procedures and processes.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring they are fit for purpose, accurate, and up to date.
- Keep the HR system (People First) and SharePoint updated and accurate, including amending and uploading information as appropriate.
- Assist in HR Employee Relations activities, such as support with absence management, probationary periods, and report issues as required.
- Manage the administration of the Probationary Period process.
- Assist in minute taking for relevant meetings, including Employee Relations meetings and formal forums.
- Assist all HR teams with administrative tasks as and when required.
- Any other relevant duties/projects that may be assigned by the wider HR team as required.
- Provide a positive employee experience by supporting with daily queries and the timely actioning of requests.
Qualifications/Relevant Experience:
- Good level of education, particularly in English, Maths, and Administrative subjects.
- Administration knowledge and experience.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A base level understanding of HR administrative processes is desired but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient on all relevant software packages including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to engage well with the wider team and key business stakeholders.
- Willing to use initiative when required.
- Able to work at pace to ensure timely completion of tasks and actions.
