Your new role
The Brand & Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening the market positions across the areas in which we undertake our activities. Operating within a centralised Group Marketing Team that supports 20+ specialist businesses, this role will lead the development of differentiated products and services, build compelling brands and propositions, and drive strategic activities that enhance visibility, engagement, and commercial performance.
The manager will lead a multidisciplinary team (design, film, content, digital, and events) to deliver high-impact, insight-driven marketing aligned to business objectives. The role requires a blend of strong strategic thinking, creativity, commercial understanding, and strong stakeholder engagement - working closely with operational leaders across the whole Robertson Group.
Duties
- Develop and implement annual B2B marketing plans aligned to the Group strategy.
- Lead the development, toolkit creation, and branding of new and existing product/service offers.
- Create clear value propositions that articulate benefits, USPs, and technical strengths for brands and deliver campaign-led activities for Robertson.
- Act as a trusted marketing partner to senior leaders across regional offices and business units to support their goals and respond to their needs and opportunities.
- Manage a B2B Marketing team covering design, film, content, digital, and events and champion continuous improvement and development.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure alignment of activities, maximise opportunities, and make the biggest impact.
- Lead the planning and delivery of key events, exhibitions, launches, and customer engagement activities.
- Establish KPIs to track marketing impact and ROI and provide performance reporting to the Marketing Director and business stakeholders.
- Use data and insight to refine strategy, improve effectiveness, and support commercial decision-making, actively integrating AI and emerging technologies into the team’s work.
Qualifications/relevant experience required
The postholder will be a highly skilled B2B marketer with experience of a diverse portfolio of end-to-end marketing projects. Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate would have national experience and/or agency experience. They will have thorough experience of developing customer value propositions and brands and have delivered an extensive portfolio.
We are looking for a postholder with: passion, creativity, drive to embed new technologies, attention to detail, customer focus, a desire to solve problems, and deliver the best results to achieve the business goals across Robertson. The Adobe Creative Suite is the Team’s foundation. If no experience in this area, training will be delivered for this hands-on role. Experience of utilising emerging and new technologies into workstreams is desired to help make the difference.
