Your new role
What you’ll do:
- The Commercial Analyst supports the commercial, financial, and administrative functions of the Facilities Management (FM) team. This role helps ensure that contracts, budgets, supplier relationships, and compliance activities run smoothly. It’s a key position for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting informed decision‑making across the FM function.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and administration of client system (Sypro)
- Maintain accurate contract records, renewal dates, and performance documentation.
- Support procurement activities, including issuing RFQs, evaluating supplier proposals, and coordinating on-boarding.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues where required
- Track purchase orders, invoices, and spend against budget.
- Support cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting for FM services.
- Raise subcontracts and purchase orders (training to be provided)
- Help prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and monthly management information.
- Ensure financial processes follow internal controls and audit requirements.
- Maintain FM databases, asset registers, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, minute-taking, and follow-up actions for commercial and FM teams.
- Assist with tender documentation, bid submissions, and contract variations.
- Support the mobilisation of new contracts and service changes.
- Ensure documentation is up to date for statutory and contractual compliance.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
- Help track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for FM services.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good understanding of commercial or financial processes.
- Proficiency with excel spreadsheets, data entry, and reporting tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
