Role: Finance Assistant – Part Time
Location: Elgin

Your new role
To support the Finance department by ensuring that the day-to-day finance processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
DUTIES:
- Process items to the Cashbook
- Process staff expense claims
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes on the Purchase Ledger
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Raise customer invoices on the Sales Ledger
- Complete the daily bank reconciliation
- Maintain accounting documents, and provide general office support as required
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 1-year’s experience working as part of an accounting/ finance team (including internships or entry-level positions).
- Strong numerical skill and attention to detail
- A reliable team player who can also use own initiative
- A ‘can do’ and ‘hands on’ attitude
- Ability to work under supervision while meeting deadlines
- An intermediate excel user, previous experience of accounting software would be advantageous but is not a necessity (COINS training will be given, if required)
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ablility and confidence to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers and customers
