Your new role
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Regional SHE Managers provide a crucial service to the businesses within the Robertson Group. They provide personnel across our business with advice, guidance, and support services on SHE related matters, as well as undertaking a corporate governance role on behalf of the senior management teams, at both individual business and Robertson Group levels.
A summary of the position’s key requirements are as follows:
- To undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for the local business heads and Robertson Group.
- To assist in assessing the competence of contractors.
- To support local business heads in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives.
- To provide a focus on SHE matters.
- To provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters.
- To participate in SHE investigations.
- To help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses.
DUTIES:
- Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes.
- Participate in significant incident investigations.
- Assess the SHE competence of vendors at Stage 1 of the CDM competence assessment process.
- Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits, and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.
- Deliver in‑house SHE training courses.
- Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings.
- Attend and participate at local Robertson Group businesses SHE meetings.
- Liaise with Enforcing Authorities as appropriate.
- Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business as appropriate to further SHEQ performance.
