Our client, a well-established mid-market U.S. investment bank, is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Vice President to join its Technology & IT Services coverage team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a candidate looking to step into a more senior execution role with meaningful client exposure and responsibility. The firm has a strong track record advising founder-owned and private equity–backed businesses on M&A, sell-side, buy-side, and capital raises, and is continuing to see strong deal flow across software, IT services, and tech-enabled services.
The Role
As a Junior VP, you will play a critical role in leading deal execution and mentoring junior team members, while working closely with senior bankers and clients. Responsibilities include:
- Leading financial analysis, valuation, and modeling for M&A and capital markets transactions
- Managing Associates and Analysts through live deal execution and pitch processes
- Drafting and reviewing CIMs, management presentations, and marketing materials
- Coordinating due diligence, data rooms, and transaction processes
- Supporting senior bankers in client coverage and business development initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking to speak with candidates who meet the following criteria:
- 3–6+ years of investment banking experience
- Demonstrated deal experience in Technology and/or IT Services (software, SaaS, managed services, tech-enabled services, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Experience operating at a Senior Associate or Junior VP level, with increasing leadership responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and senior stakeholders
