I’m working with a growing, ambitious business in London that is looking to appoint a Corporate Development Manager to support its next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience in corporate development, M&A, strategy, investment, or financial analysis to join a high-performing team and play a key role in shaping the company’s future direction.
The role involves working closely with senior leadership to identify, assess, and deliver strategic growth opportunities. This will include supporting acquisitions, partnerships, market expansion, investment cases, and wider corporate strategy initiatives.
You will be responsible for building financial models, preparing business cases, conducting market and competitor analysis, and managing key workstreams across live projects. The role will suit someone who enjoys combining analytical rigour with commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities- Identify and evaluate acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities
- Build financial models, valuation analysis, and strategic business cases
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and sector mapping
- Support due diligence and transaction execution processes
- Prepare board-level presentations and investment papers
- Work with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, legal, and operations
- Track performance of completed deals and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to long-term corporate strategy and growth planning
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Experience in corporate development, M&A, transaction services, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or commercial finance
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Excellent commercial judgement and attention to detail
- The ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting transactions, investment cases, or strategic projects
- A proactive, confident, and collaborative working style
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
