We are advising a newly launched investment bank backed by senior, well-established dealmakers, who are seeking to hire an M&A Associate as part of their founding execution team. This is a rare opportunity to join a platform at an early stage, where you will play a meaningful role in shaping processes, supporting origination and execution, and helping to build a high-performing advisory franchise.
The Associate will work directly with Managing Directors and Vice Presidents on live M&A mandates, with significant responsibility across execution, client interaction, and transaction delivery. Given the firm's early-stage nature, candidates should be comfortable operating in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment with less hierarchy than traditional banks. This role offers broad exposure, fast professional development, and the chance to make a visible impact on the firm's success.
Key Responsibilities- Leading financial modelling and valuation analysis (DCF, trading and transaction comparables, LBO where relevant)
- Drafting and reviewing pitch materials, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Coordinating due diligence processes and interacting with clients, lawyers, and other advisors
- Supporting transaction execution from mandate to close
- Mentoring junior analysts as the team grows
- Contributing to thought leadership and origination efforts
- 2–4 years of experience in M&A / investment banking / corporate finance
- Strong technical skills and proven transaction experience
- Experience drafting client-facing materials and managing workstreams
- Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced, and evolving environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to help build a platform
- Join an investment bank at inception, with genuine influence and visibility
- Work alongside senior, credible dealmakers with strong networks
- Broad responsibility and accelerated career development
- Opportunity to grow with the firm and take on leadership over time
- Competitive compensation with upside linked to firm performance
This role will suit an Associate who is looking to move beyond a traditional, rigid banking structure and take on greater ownership and impact within a growing advisory business. If this sounds of interest, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
