I am working with a highly regarded US mid-market investment bank that is looking to add a Senior Associate to its growing Services & Industrials M&A team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing investment banking professional to join a platform with strong transatlantic connectivity, a well-established mid-market advisory franchise, and a team that is actively executing across the services and industrials sectors. The Opportunity
As a Senior Associate, you will work directly with senior bankers on the origination and execution of M&A mandates across the services and industrials space. You will be expected to take ownership of key workstreams, manage analysts, and act as a critical point of contact throughout the transaction process. The team advises corporates, founder-led businesses, private equity clients and portfolio companies across a range of mid-market transactions, with a focus on high-quality execution and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the preparation of marketing materials, buyer lists, financial analysis and transaction documentation
- Building and reviewing detailed financial models, valuation analyses and deal-related materials
- Supporting live M&A processes, including due diligence, management presentations, buyer outreach and negotiation support
- Coordinating workstreams across clients, internal teams, counterparties and advisers
- Supervising and developing analysts and junior team members
- Contributing to sector research, idea generation and business development initiatives
- Working closely with Managing Directors and Directors on both execution and origination
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current or recent experience in investment banking M&A, ideally at Associate or Senior Associate level
- Exposure to services, industrials, business services, manufacturing, distribution, industrial technology or adjacent sectors
- Strong technical skills across financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution
- Experience managing analysts and taking ownership of deal workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A commercial mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast-paced advisory environment
- A strong academic background and genuine interest in mid-market M&A
