Our client is a well-established software provider that is building their new software development team. They are now looking for a Software Tester to join their Hampshire based business.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute automated and manual test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing across the development lifecycle.
  • Develop test strategies using a risk-based approach to ensure quality during Agile delivery.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to refine requirements and drive testability.
  • Maintain and prioritise the bug backlog, ensuring defects are tracked through to resolution.
  • Configure and maintain test automation integrated with CI/CD and build pipelines.
  • Contribute to Agile sprints by supporting all phases of testing.
  • Build and sustain UI and API test automation frameworks.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in test automation for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium and Appium.
  • Familiarity with writing test scripts and acceptance criteria using BDD and Gherkin.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing, system integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Experience in test strategy creation and agile software delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Postman, JMeter, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
