Our client is a well-established software provider that is building their new software development team. They are now looking for a Software Tester to join their Hampshire-based business.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Design and execute automated and manual test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing across the development lifecycle.
- Develop test strategies using a risk-based approach to ensure quality during Agile delivery.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to refine requirements and drive testability.
- Maintain and prioritise the bug backlog, ensuring defects are tracked through to resolution.
- Configure and maintain test automation integrated with CI/CD and build pipelines.
- Contribute to Agile sprints by supporting all phases of testing.
- Build and sustain UI and API test automation frameworks.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in test automation for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Familiarity with writing test scripts and acceptance criteria using BDD and Gherkin.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing, system integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience in test strategy creation and agile software delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of tools such as Postman, JMeter, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
