The Role

This role focuses on driving revenue growth within the Financial Services sector, selling enterprise‑grade software solutions into complex, high‑value environments. You’ll own the full sales lifecycle, developing both new and existing relationships at senior and C‑suite level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business within a defined territory and named Financial Services accounts
  • Own the full sales process from initial engagement through to negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with business and technical decision‑makers
  • Execute proactive outbound activity alongside marketing‑led initiatives
  • Manage upsells, renewals and account expansion opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with Pre‑Sales and Professional Services teams
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs with commercially and technically robust proposals
  • Maintain accurate records and forecasting within CRM
  • Represent the business at industry events and client meetings

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Significant experience in B2B enterprise software sales within Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of banking, capital markets or market‑data environments
  • Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel as required

Advantageous

  • Experience selling middleware, real‑time data or event‑driven technologies
  • Established network across exchanges, sell‑side, buy‑side or market‑data firms
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
