The Role

This is a senior new-business Account Director position within a well-established UK technology and managed services provider. You’ll be responsible for winning, developing, and expanding a small number of corporate accounts, combining hunter-led activity with long-term strategic relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new corporate customers within the 2,000–10,000 employee segment
  • Develop and expand a small number of low-spend accounts
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across IT, procurement and leadership
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across managed services and solutions
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management and account planning
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape customer solutions

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven Account Director / Senior Account Manager experience in the IT channel
  • Background in VAR or MSP environments
  • Strong hunter mentality with disciplined pipeline creation
  • Experience selling into mid-market / corporate organisations

Advantageous

  • Managed services sales exposure
  • Experience running structured account plans and QBRs

Package

  • Base salary up to £75,000
  • Commission: 14% on managed services
  • Paid on everything you sell
  • Hybrid working: minimum 2 days per week in Reading or Leatherhead (London alternative available)
