The Role
This is a senior new-business Account Director position within a well-established UK technology and managed services provider. You’ll be responsible for winning, developing, and expanding a small number of corporate accounts, combining hunter-led activity with long-term strategic relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new corporate customers within the 2,000–10,000 employee segment
- Develop and expand a small number of low-spend accounts
- Build multi-threaded relationships across IT, procurement and leadership
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across managed services and solutions
- Own forecasting, pipeline management and account planning
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape customer solutions
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven Account Director / Senior Account Manager experience in the IT channel
- Background in VAR or MSP environments
- Strong hunter mentality with disciplined pipeline creation
- Experience selling into mid-market / corporate organisations
Advantageous
- Managed services sales exposure
- Experience running structured account plans and QBRs
Package
- Base salary up to £75,000
- Commission: 14% on managed services
- Paid on everything you sell
- Hybrid working: minimum 2 days per week in Reading or Leatherhead (London alternative available)
