The Role: This is a pure new‑business Account Executive role focused on winning net‑new commercial and SMB customers. You’ll own opportunities end‑to‑end from first conversation through to contract signature, positioning technology solutions around business outcomes rather than products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert outbound and SDR‑qualified meetings into qualified pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Run full sales cycles including discovery, stakeholder mapping, solution shaping, proposal and negotiation.
  • Lead commercial conversations around IT strategy, cloud adoption, security and managed services.
  • Build relationships with IT, operations, finance and procurement stakeholders.
  • Work closely with pre‑sales and technical teams to scope and position solutions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene and activity tracking within CRM.
  • Consistently deliver against monthly and quarterly new‑business revenue targets.
  • Identify logical upsell and cross‑sell opportunities where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or New Business Sales professional.
  • Track record of closing outbound‑led opportunities.
  • Background selling IT services, MSP, VAR or closely related technology solutions.
  • Strong discovery, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially driven, organised and self‑sufficient.

Advantageous:

  • Experience within an MSP.
  • Exposure to cloud, security, networking or managed support solutions.
  • CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce).
