Based in leafy Buckinghamshire, my client is a team of Go to Market Specialists, designers, developers, copywriters, strategists and digital marketing experts, working with some of the biggest names in the Tech/Fintech industries. Role overview
The Lead Designer will play a crucial role within the business, leading and creating in the delivery of high-level creative campaigns, from Reports, eBooks, social, websites, mobile, UI/X, EDM's, presentations, brochures, infographics, storyboards, and ongoing communications for our clients. A key part of the role will be a willingness to learn as the world of Marketing and design transitions, build a good and friendly rapport with all colleagues and clients, understand their business and the products/services they offer.
Core responsibilities
- Work closely with Head of Digital and Client Services
- Deliver projects from conception through to completion
- Must have a digital design background competent in Figma from Concept and design to prototypes for responsive Desktop and Mobile
- Work with Head of Content for concepts
- Read and understand technical Briefs and create content lead design
- Design creative content to the highest standard
- Produce impactful PowerPoint presentations/pitches
- Work with the Motion and Development teams on interactive digital assets and campaigns
- Take responsibility and ownership of work
- Build good rapport with clients
- Attend client meetings, briefs and presentations (currently online)
Key skills required
- At least 10+ years of experience working within a fast-paced agency or freelancing for Agencies - B2B and Technical Verticals preferable
- Strong portfolio demonstrating critical design principles, flair, and typography
- Highly skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and Photoshop
- Digital design experience, UX methodology
- Fast knowledge of PowerPoint, creating high-end presentations
- Ability to work singly and as a team
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Bonus
- Experience using Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro
- HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Experience of Tech/Fintech sectors
