We’re working with a leading UK technology solutions provider that is investing in its pre-sales and business applications capability. As part of this growth, they’re looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to bridge the gap between customer challenges and innovative Microsoft-based solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys discovery workshops, shaping proposals, and influencing solution design while still remaining hands-on when required.
The Role
- Work closely with Sales, Professional Services, and technical delivery teams to:
- Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges and transformation goals
- Translate requirements into high-level solution designs within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Shape and present compelling technical proposals and statements of work
- Provide technical input into bids, tenders, and commercial proposals
- Design scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions
- Support client presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales into delivery teams
- Maintain awareness of evolving Microsoft technologies and market trends
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution consultant, or technical consultant role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft business applications (Power Platform experience beneficial)
- Confident running workshops and presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience contributing to proposals, bids, and commercial documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design robust, scalable solutions aligned to business outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Microsoft certifications are advantageous
