The Role
This is a hands‑on events role owning the full programme of customer, partner, and industry events across the UK. You’ll design and deliver commercially aligned in‑person and digital experiences that support brand awareness, pipeline generation, and partner engagement. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced technology environment and enjoys taking full responsibility for planning, delivery, and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the annual events calendar across customer, partner, industry, and digital activities
- Lead all planning, logistics, vendor management, suppliers, and venue coordination
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to align events with go‑to‑market priorities
- Manage event budgets, forecasting, reporting, and ROI analysis
- Produce clear internal and external briefs to support delivery
- Coordinate all event-related marketing assets, including landing pages, email invites, social content, and follow-up activity
- Represent the business effectively at exhibitions and industry events
- Support occasional internal and social events as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven events management experience within the IT industry or IT channel
- Demonstrable end‑to‑end ownership of exhibitions, webinars, and customer events
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding event impact on pipeline and revenue
- Highly organised, confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Nice to Have / Advantageous
- Experience within an SME or high‑growth environment
- Familiarity with WordPress, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel)
- Comfortable facilitating hybrid and digital event formats
Package
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 base Bonus: 10% (KPI‑based) Competitive benefits package including healthcare, enhanced leave, and lifestyle schemes
