A growing technology services provider is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead client onboarding, offboarding, and transition projects. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes, delivering projects on time and within budget, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. It requires strong stakeholder management, financial oversight, and the ability to manage complex projects under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding and offboarding projects
- Plan, manage, and deliver transition and infrastructure projects within agreed timelines and budgets
- Conduct and oversee network discovery audits for new and transitioning clients
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and documentation
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes
- Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders
- Provide clear and proactive communication on project status, timelines, and risks
- Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking is maintained
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and performance against KPIs
- Support additional infrastructure or integration projects where required
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in IT project management or similar role
- Proven experience delivering onboarding, transition, or infrastructure projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior (C-level) stakeholders
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Ability to manage risks, resolve conflicts, and facilitate decision-making
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and service delivery
- Familiarity with at least three of the following:
- Cloud technologies and platforms
- Microsoft 365 architecture and services
- Networking and infrastructure
- Server and on-premise environments
- Endpoint technologies (desktop, mobile, etc.)
