An established and fast-growing technology services provider is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to deliver cloud and network solutions across a diverse client base. This role involves a mix of project delivery, technical escalation, and client-facing support, requiring strong technical expertise alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and implement cloud and network projects (including Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Intune)
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex 3rd line technical issues across infrastructure, servers, and networking
- Provide support services to both contracted and non-contracted clients, ensuring SLA compliance
- Assist with pre-sales activities, including technical design, surveys, and solution recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Recommend and contribute to improvements in technical processes and service delivery
- Support and mentor junior engineers where required
- Participate in out-of-hours support on a rota basis (optional)
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience delivering cloud and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, and Intune
- Solid understanding of networking, servers, virtualisation, storage, and security
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and desktop issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet service deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications (any of the following or equivalent)
- Degree or diploma in IT / Computer Science
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCP, MCSE, Azure Administrator)
- Cisco CCNA
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
