The Role

This is a critical position responsible for leading end-to-end bid management across public and private sector opportunities, with a particular focus on public sector frameworks. You’ll own the bid lifecycle, from qualification through to submission, ensuring every response is compliant, compelling, and commercially robust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full bid lifecycle, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality submissions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent tenders, frameworks, and mini-competitions, prioritising effectively.
  • Support go/no-go decisions based on commercial viability, resource requirements, and probability of success.
  • Develop structured bid plans, timelines, compliance matrices, and governance frameworks.
  • Produce clear, persuasive, and customer-focused bid content aligned to evaluation criteria.
  • Translate complex technical solutions into compelling public sector narratives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, commercial, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Track bid performance, customer feedback, and win/loss data to improve future submissions.

  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager within IT services, technology, or complex solutions environments.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement, including frameworks, tender portals, and evaluation criteria.
