Key Role Responsibilities
- Own and execute a new business development strategy across an enterprise client portfolio in the North of England.
- Prospect and qualify new clients aligned to regional targets and build compelling value propositions.
- Engage and influence stakeholders at CxO level within customer organisations.
- Lead internal and external teams through the full sales cycle — from discovery and solution design to proposal and close.
- Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships to maximise margin opportunities.
- Execute campaign planning using CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasts and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with solution architects and business units to deliver tailored client offerings.
- Monitor and mitigate commercial and operational risks throughout the sales process.
- Create account plans and targeted marketing strategies based on industry verticals such as FS&I, retail, FMCG, or construction.
Key Attributes Required
- Proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally targeting FTSE 100 clients or equivalent.
- Experience selling a mix of IT products and services — including consulting, managed services, and enterprise hardware/software.
- Able to demonstrate repeatable success in winning new business and expanding client engagements.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, and services aligned to business outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all organisational levels.
- Ability to lead virtual teams and coordinate multi-party campaigns.
- Commercially astute with experience managing negotiation and deal structure complexities.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms for pipeline and campaign management.
