We are seeking a Data Center Technician to join a growing technology team responsible for building, configuring, testing, and deploying enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and hardware integration projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and configure server, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Assemble and integrate enterprise rack solutions to customer specifications.
  • Install hardware components including memory, storage, NICs, and power infrastructure.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
  • Complete BIOS, firmware, and software updates across multiple vendor platforms.
  • Install and manage cabling, labelling, and rack elevations to a high standard.
  • Conduct system testing, quality control checks, and hardware validation.
  • Support data centre deployments, project builds, and customer onboarding activities.
  • Work from technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and customer requirements.
  • Capture asset information, MAC addresses, licensing details, and build documentation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist with inventory processing, order modifications, and shipping readiness.
  • Maintain compliance with security, quality, and operational standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with servers, storage, networking, or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with rack builds, structured cabling, and hardware installations is highly desirable.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
