Job Description

Microsoft Intune Specialist – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: Leeds (2-3 days onsite per week)

Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months

Start Date: ASAP

Eligibility: Must live within a commutable distance of Leeds and be able to work legally in the UK

We’re working with a trusted IT Managed Service Provider on a major endpoint management programme for a key enterprise client in Leeds. To support this delivery, we’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Intune Specialist to join the project on a 6-month Inside IR35 basis.

This is a client-facing role, so we’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills and confidence working in end-customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and configure Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM)
  • Configure and deploy Intune compliance policies, profiles, and security settings
  • Set up and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and zero-touch deployment
  • Manage the full device lifecycle across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms, including provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning
  • Monitor and maintain device compliance and security posture, resolving issues with enrolment, access, and configuration
  • Configure and enforce Conditional Access and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) policies to align with corporate security standards
  • Deploy and manage public, private, and Line-of-Business (LOB) apps through Intune
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to align Intune configurations with wider policy requirements
  • Provide support and guidance to internal IT teams and stakeholders on Intune functionality and best practices

Experience Required

  • Proven experience implementing and managing Microsoft Intune in an enterprise or managed services setting
  • Strong working knowledge of device management, application deployment, compliance, and co-management
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Confident in customer-facing roles with strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Intune (policy creation, deployment, troubleshooting)
  • Mobile OS management: Windows 10/11, iOS, Android
  • Azure AD, Conditional Access, RBAC
  • Windows Autopilot setup and configuration
  • Familiarity with endpoint security controls (encryption, remote wipe, etc.)
