Scientific Portfolio is the latest fintech to come out of the EDHEC Business School’s incubator as part of its strategy to impact the industry by transferring academic know-how through business ventures.
Scientific Portfolio helps equity investors to analyze and construct portfolios through a very intuitive web-based platform that captures both the financial and extra-financial perspectives. After a period of intensive R&D and technology development, Scientific Portfolio has opened its doors more broadly to a large public of investors and is looking to hire a Client Solutions Specialist to engage with users, understand their needs and identify applicable platform use cases, and ultimately help them integrate Scientific Portfolio into their investment process.
As Scientific Portfolio’s Client Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Acquiring and maintaining an expertise in the use of the Scientific Portfolio platform to analyze and construct equity portfolios from both a financial and extra-financial perspective
Reaching out to existing users proactively to help them get the most out of the platform and improve usage and retention rates
Producing pedagogical material to facilitate the use of the platform (FAQ, In-App documentation, tutorial, webinar)
Coordinating the response to users’ questions and requests, either directly or in cooperation with other teams of Scientific Portfolio (Product, Research, Technology)
Leveraging existing users’ feedback to produce concrete written case studies that help promote the platform’s benefits to prospective users
The ideal candidate has at least 5Y of experience in the financial industry including the last 3Y in a client-facing position, including significant experience in some of the following:
Engaging with institutional investors, asset managers or wealth managers directly
Writing investment reports or case studies for professional equity investors
Analyzing an investor’s equity portfolio using professional investment management tools
Advising or providing technical assistance to sophisticated equity investors at various stages of their investment process
Promoting analytical tools to institutional portfolio managers and key investment decision makers
The position requires:
Knowledge of the general principles of portfolio management and financial risk management
The analytical/quantitative mindset and technological savvy naturally expected in a fintech
Native-level English proficiency and strong writing skills
The position does not require formal investment research experience, academic publications, or advanced programming skills.
