A multi million pound turnover M&E contractor enjoying continued success seeks the solid appointment of a talented and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly stable and reputable organisation. Based out of their West Midlands offices, this award winning contractor covers multiple UK schemes from commercial to industrial based projects.
Responsibilities:
- Produce heating/cooling (thermal modelling) and ventilation load calculations using industry software, with sizing and selection of AHUs, FCUs, extract fans, pumps, chillers, ASHP, boilers and plate heat exchangers etc.
- Produce above-ground drainage calculations and sizing of drainage systems.
- Contribute to mechanical building services design across commercial and industrial projects as part of project teams.
Qualifications:
- Background in Mechanical Building Services design (M&E / Mechanical & Electrical Services / Building Services or HVAC).
- Experience with design software such as Hevacomp, Carrier HAP, CyMap, IES/TAS is highly desirable.
