Overview
This vastly stable global organisation seeks skilled technicians to join their friendly and dedicated team working on a variety of automotive and ground service/support equipment.
Responsibilities
You will conduct planned, preventative maintenance, as well as service and any repairs on a variety of equipment, providing real variety in an exciting environment. Full training on the service and maintenance of ground support equipment is available with an immediate start on a daytime 4 days on 4 days off shift.
Qualifications
- Time served automotive technicians/mechanics/plant engineers with at least one year post‑apprenticeship experience
- City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent automotive qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- Experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive engineer, light or commercial automotive engineer, PSV technician / HGV engineer / HGV mechanic / HGV technician / PSV engineer / PSV mechanic / plant mechanic, construction plant engineer / mechanic, or other level automotive maintenance and repair experience
- Ex‑military candidates (REME, Royal Engineers, or similar) highly desirable
