Job Description

A multi million pound turnover M&E contractor enjoying continued success seek the solid appointment of a talented and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly stable and reputable organisation.\\nBased out of their Edinburgh offices, this award winning contractor covers multiple UK schemes from commercial to industrial based projects.\\nCandidates highly sought after are those ideally from an M&E / Mechanical & Electrical Services / Building Services or HVAC background.\\nWe are interested in candidates to consider of varied levels – ESSENTIAL is your background in Mechanical Building Services design.\\nYou will ideally be capable of producing heating/cooling (thermal modelling) and ventilation load calculations using industry software, with sizing and selection of AHUs, FCUs, extract fans, pumps, chillers, ASHP, boilers and plate heat exchangers etc.\\nCandidates sought will have experience producing above ground drainage calculations and sizing of drainage systems.\\nWorking knowledge of design software such as Hevacomp, Carrier HAP, CyMap, IES/TAS is highly desirable.\\nJoining a very stable player in a position of commercial strength, this is a fantastic time to join in on their ongoing success for 2026.\\nShould you have this background and experience, with a desire to further develop and enhance your career to another level, then please send your updated CV with all relevant experience and skills clearly shown for the best chance of securing an interview.\\nDo you know anyone who would be a great fit for this opportunity?… If so, please forward them this ad
